Join Esperanza in Supporting a Local Small Business!
Dear Community Leader/Member,
As part of Esperanza’s work with the Community, we offer technical assistance to local businesses to access resources available to them through City funds and other means. I reached out to many of you a few weeks ago to present one of those projects to you – Angela’s Boutique. This Wyoming Avenue business is currently enrolled in a program called Kiva, which allows small business to borrow money for renovations. This program encourages people to lend money to the business and they, in turn, match that amount to reach a final goal, in this case $5000. The business owner then has the opportunity to pay the money back over the course of 24 months interest free! In the past few weeks, this campaign has gone from 41% to 64% funded! Thanks very much if you have already become a supporter
If you have not done so, would you consider lending to this awesome business? If you do, Kiva will match your loan times two! Loans start at only $25. Remember, this is a loan, and as such you will get your money back over the course of the loan payment period.

Thanks very much for helping us empower our small businesses!
